The Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise chart displays the company's stock price along with the consensus estimate and the EPS surprise. Consensus estimates are more advantageous because they reduce the risk of any single analyst making an incorrect forecast. ZACKS CONSENSUS ESTIMATE = THE AVERAGE OF ALL CURRENT EPS ESTIMATES. EPS Surprise is the difference (expressed as a percentage) between the actual reported quarterly earnings per share (EPS) vs the estimated quarterly EPS.
