Read MoreHide Full Article
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. declared that it has been selected as a member of the prestigious Fulton Hogan Seymour Whyte Joint Venture (‘FHSW JV’) by the Department of Transport and Main Roads of Queensland. The newly secured role in the valuable transport project of Australia and Queensland would boost the company’s organic growth.
FHSW JV is a $860 million transportation project, framed to improve the linkage between Sunshine Motorway and Caloundra Road, in Queensland, Australia. The project involves construction of six additional lanes between the two locations and is regarded as one of the chief road projects of Queensland. This project is framed to bring down traffic congestion and enhance safety of transporters in the region. The major construction activities related to the project would commence from the mid 2017 and are programmed to be completed by late 2020.
Apart from Jacobs, Seymour Whyte Group, Arup Group and Fulton Hogan have also secured roles in the FHSW JV project. Jacobs and Arup Group would be offering designing services in the project.
