Fund Description
American Century Emerging Market Funds, Investor Class was incepted in September 1997 and is managed by American Century Investment Management. The objective of this fund is to seek growth of capital. It invests in foreign companies that exhibit accelerating growth of income. This strategy is based on the premise that, over the long-term, the stocks of companies with earnings and revenue growth have a greater than average chance to increase in value. The managers make their investment decisions based primarily on the business fundamentals of individual companies, rather than on economic forecasts or the outlook for industries or sectors. The fund offers dividends in December. Capital gains are paid twice a year in March and December.
