Fund Description
The fund was incepted in May 1997 and is managed by Cohen & Steers Capital Management, Inc. The fund seeks capital appreciation over the long-term through investment primarily in real estate investment trusts (REITs) and other real estate oriented companies. The fund invests at least 80%, and normally substantially all, of its total assets in the equity securities of a limited number of REITs and companies, which are engaged in business in the real estate industry or related industries or in companies, which own significant real estate assets, and which are believed by the fund's advisor to have unrecognized intrinsic value. The fund pays dividends semi-annually and capital gains annually in December.
