Fund Description
Incepted in December 1977, the fund is managed by the Fidelity Group. This fund normally invests at least 80% of the fund's assets in investment-grade (those of medium and high quality) municipal securities whose interest is exempt from federal income tax. This fund is managed to have similar overall interest rate risk to the Lehman Brothers 3 Plus Year Municipal Bond Index. The main objective of this fund is to seek a high current yield exempt from federal income tax. The fund offers a monthly dividend. Capital gains, if any, are distributed in January and December.
