Fund Description

The fund was incepted in December 1996 and is managed by Franklin Advisor. The main objective of the fund is to seek the highest level of long-term total return that is consistent with a higher level of risk. This fund is most appropriate for investors with a longer investment horizon. The manager allocates each fund's assets among the broad asset classes of equity, fixed-income and short-term (money market) investments by investing in a distinctly-weighted combination of Franklin Templeton mutual funds. The fund offers dividends quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed at least annually. But there is no guarantee that the fund will pay either income dividends or capital gain distributions.
