Fund Description

Incepted in February 2003, the fund is managed by J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc. The fund seeks long-term growth of capital. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity investments of large- and midcapitalization U.S. companies. The fund generally defines large-capitalization companies as those with a market capitalization over $10 billion at the time of purchase, and mid-capitalization companies as those with market capitalization between $1 billion and $10 billion at the time of purchase. Although the fund may invest in securities of large- and mid-capitalization companies, it may at any given time invest a significant portion of its assets in companies of one particular market capitalization category, when the fund?s adviser believes such companies offer attractive opportunities. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually.
