Fund Description
The fund was incepted in March 1990 and is managed by Morgan Stanley Investment Management. The fund seeks long-term capital growth. The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in growth-oriented equity securities of U.S. mid capital companies and, to a limited extent, foreign companies. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's assets are invested in common stocks of mid capital companies. Dividends are distributed annually. If any net gains are realized from the sale of underlying securities, the fund normally distributes the gains with the last distributions for the calendar year.
