Fund Description
The fund was incepted in August 1984 and is managed by Meridian fund, Inc. The fund seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of publicly traded common stocks of U.S. companies. The fund emphasizes companies that are relatively small in terms of total assets, revenues and earnings and that the Investment Adviser believes may have prospects for above average growth in revenues and earnings. These companies generally have market capitalizations between $100 million and $1.5 billion at the time of purchase. Dividends and capital gains are distributed annually.
