Fund Description

Incepted in January 1997, the fund is managed by The Managers Funds LLC. The fund?s objective is to provide a high total return, consistent with the preservation of capital and a prudent level of risk. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in a diversified portfolio consisting of the common stocks of medium-sized companies, which are generally listed on the New York or American stock exchanges or on NASDAQ and are widely held among a large number of investors. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in companies that, at the time of purchase, have market capitalizations between $1 billion and $12 billion. The fund may also invest in other U.S. and foreign securities, including foreign securities and warrants. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually.
