Fund Description
The was incepted in February 1994 and is managed by Aster Investment Management Co., Inc. The fund seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests at least 65% of its total assets in common stocks and equity-related securities. The fund may invest up to 35% of its total assets in fixed income securities, including higher yield, higher risk, lower rated or unrated corporate bonds, commonly referred to as 'junkbonds.'' These are bonds that are rated Ba or below by Moody's Investors Service or BB or below by Standard & Poor's Ratings Group, or unrated but of comparable quality as determined by the Investment Adviser. The fund may invest up to 10% of its total assets in securities rated below Ca by Moody's or C by S&P, or unrated but of comparable quality. Dividends and capital gains are distributed annually.
