Fund Description
The fund was incepted in April 1997 and is managed by Northern Trust Investments. The fund seeks to provide high current income exempt from regular federal income tax and California state personal income tax. The fund's approach is to concentrate investments in California-specific, investment-grade municipal instruments, which are exempt from federal income tax and California state personal income tax while maintaining an average maturity between 10 and 30 years. Although the fund invests primarily in investment grade debt obligations, it may invest, to a limited extent, in obligations that are below investment grade (junk bonds). Dividends, if any, are declared daily and paid monthly. Capital gains, if any, are declared and paid annually.
