Fund Description
The fund was incepted in November 1995 and is managed by Strong Capital Management, Inc. The fund seeks federally tax-exempt current income with a very low degree of share-price fluctuation. The fund invests primarily in ultra short-term, investment-grade municipal obligations and maintains an average effective portfolio maturity of one year or less. The fund also invests a limited portion of its assets in bonds that have longer maturities or are of lower quality (high yield or junk bonds). The fund offers dividends monthly and net capital gains annually.
