Fund Description

The fund was incepted in March 1995 and is managed by Sentinel Advisors Company. The fund seeks high current income and limited fluctuations in principal value by investing mainly in U.S. government bonds that have average lives of three years or less. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in U.S. government securities with average lives, at the time of purchase, of three years or less. or less. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in high quality money market instruments that are not issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government or its agencies or instrumentalities. Dividends are distributed monthly. Capital gains are distributed in December, following the November 30th fiscal year-end.
