Fund Description

The fund was incepted in December 2002 and is managed by Thornburg Investment Management. The fund seeks to provide a high level of current income as a primary objective and long-term capital appreciation as a secondary objective. The fund pursues its investment objectives by investing in a broad range of income producing securities, primarily including stocks and bonds. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in income producing securities, and at least 50% of its assets in common stocks. The fund may invest in debt obligations of any kind, including corporate bonds and other obligations. The fund declares dividends daily and pays it quarterly. Capital gains are distributed annually.
