Fund Description
American Century Short-Term Government Fund, Investor Class was incepted in December 1982 and is managed by American Century Investment Management. The objective of this fund is to seek high current income. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in securities issued by the U.S. government and its agencies and instrumentalities, including mortgage-backed securities. It invests 20% of its total assets in investment-grade debt securities of U.S. companies. The fund offers dividends monthly. Capital gains are distributed in December.
