Fund Description
The fund was incepted in September 1997 and is managed by United States Trust Company of New York and U.S. Trust Company. The fund seeks superior, long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests in larger companies whose growth prospects, in the opinion of the adviser, appear to exceed that of the overall market. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in common stocks of large U.S. companies. The large capital companies in which the fund invests currently have market capitalizations over $5 billion. Dividends are distributed quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
