Fund Description
The fund was incepted in February 1991 and is managed by USAA Investment Management Company. The fund seeks to provide investors a high level of current income consistent with preservation of principal. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA) securities backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. The fund also invests its assets in investment-grade short-term debt instruments. Dividends are declared daily and paid monthly. Capital gains are distributed in December each year.
