Fund Description
The fund was incepted in August 1995 and is managed by Marathon Asset Management Limited. The objective of this fund is to seek maximum long-term growth of capital. The fund invests in stocks from the United States and other countries, selecting securities that appear undervalued based on analyses of industry sectors and individual companies. Each company is evaluated on the basis of its management's strategies for new investment and for dealing with competition. The fund is widely diversified across companies, industry sectors, and countries. The fund holds growth stocks (characterized by relatively high prices in relation to such fundamental measures as current earnings, dividends, and book value) and value stocks (characterized by relatively low prices in relation to earnings, dividends, and book value). The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually in December.
