2 ETFs to Watch for Outsized Volume on Dividends and Large-Cap Growth

In the last trading session, Wall Street posted solid gains. Among the top ETFs, (SPY - Free Report) gained 2.7%, (DIA - Free Report) gained 2.4% and (QQQ - Free Report) moved 3.1% higher on the day.

Two more specialized ETFs are worth noting as both saw trading volume that was far outside of normal. In fact, both these funds experienced volume levels that were more than double their average for the most-recent trading session. This could make these ETFs ones to watch out for in the days ahead to see if this trend of extra-interest continues.

HDV: Volume 3.25 Times Average

This high dividend ETF was in the spotlight as around 5.5 million shares moved hands compared with an average of 1.69 million shares a day. We also saw some price movement as HDV gained 1.3% in the last session. HDV has gained 3.5% over the past month.

(SPYG - Free Report) : Volume 3.86 Times Average

This large-cap growth ETF was under the microscope as nearly 10.26 million shares moved hands. This compares with an average trading volume of roughly 2.66 million shares and came as SPYG gained 3.1% in the last trading session. SPYG is up 8.7% in a month’s time.
