Liberty Property Trust , the Malvern, PA-based real estate investment trust has announced that it is on the verge of completing the development of 3929 Shutterfly Road in Shopton Ridge. This industrial building will offer 36-foot clear height and 54-by-50-foot column spacing, thereby raising the cubic volume by 25%.
Liberty Property provides leasing, property management, development, construction management, design management and related services for a portfolio of industrial and office properties. The new 204,120-square-foot building offers 210-foot depth, a 60-foot speed bay, rear loading, trailer parking, and energy-efficient lighting.
With this next generation warehouse and distribution center in Charlotte, Liberty Property is offering tenants both cost and energy-efficient ways of increasing their cubic volume. Presently, Charlotte portfolio is fully leased. The company also intends to develop a second building of 158,760 square feet with same height and column-spacing features.
Currently, Liberty Property carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
Shares of Liberty Property underperformed the Zacks categorized REIT and Equity Trust – Other industry over the past three months. During that time frame, shares of the company lost 2.3%, whereas the industry gained 3.8%.
