Colgate-Palmolive Co. (CL - Free Report) , a global dealer in consumer goods, came out with first-quarter 2017 adjusted earnings of 67 cents per share surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by a penny and also increased 6.3% year-over-year. Including one-time items, the company’s earnings per share were 64 cents compared with 59 cents reported in the year ago quarter.
For 2017, the company projects adjusted earnings per share to grow at a low-single-digit range on a year over year basis.
