Earnings season isn’t over yet. There are still several hundred companies reporting this week, including a handful of big technology names and a bunch of restaurants and retailers.
One of those big tech titans is reporting in the middle of the week: Cisco.
But what about the restaurant stocks? They’ve been beaten up over the last 2 years as the glory of the restaurant trade has faded. Are there buying opportunities there?
It’s not easy to beat every quarter, or nearly every quarter, for five years, but these companies have all been doing it and in very tough industry conditions.
Some of them have hot charts. Some do not.
But if you’re playing the earnings miss or beat, these are definitely some of the top earnings all-stars to watch.
This Week’s Top Earnings Charts
1. Red Robin Gourmet Burger (RRGB - Free Report) has missed just 3 times in the last 5 years but shares have been weak. Are consumers still digging the steak fries?
2. Cisco (CSCO - Free Report) has a perfect record. It hasn’t missed in 5 years. Shares are near the 5 year highs. Will another beat be a catalyst to send the shares into a breakout?
3. Synopses (SNPS - Free Report) has missed 4 times in the last 5 years but the shares have seen a big rally over the last year. Priced for perfection or more gains to come?
4. Rexnord has only missed twice in the last 5 years. You might not be as familiar with this Wisconsin maker of bearings as you are with the others. But it has been in the news recently as it closed a plant in Indiana and moved the jobs to Mexico.
