HP Unveils HP Z Workstation Series to Boost Productivity
Read MoreHide Full Article
HP Inc. (HPQ - Free Report) recently introduced the HP Z Workstation series, reportedly the most powerful and secure entry workstations, characterized by cost-effective graphics performance and flexible configuration options.
With this new product, the company expects to address the growing complexities of workflows and make these more productive without compromising on graphics power, expandability and most importantly, security.
What the Product is Offering
The new HP Z2 Mini, HP Z2 Small Form Factor and HP Z2 Tower, as well as the HP EliteDesk 800 Workstation Edition comprise built-in end-to-end HP security solutions including HP Sure Start Gen43 and HP Sure Run4, to protect devices from evolving malware threats.
Further, the company’s Manageability Kit Gen 2 effectively manages multiple devices.
Notably, the HP Z2 Workstations can be connected with the interconnect technology Thunderbolt to ensure speedy device connections.
Growth Driving Efforts
Product innovation is one of the key drivers that have helped HP in maintaining its leading position. The company is also one of the largest sellers of printers.
For the last several quarters, HP is trying to accelerate sales of its PCs and printers through product innovation and differentiation.
In the past year, HP has launched several new innovative models in the PC segment, including ZBook x2 PC Workstation, HP Sure View, HP EliteBook 1040 and 840.
In the Printing segment, the company has unveiled products like PageWide XL and DeskJet GT and is planning to widen its 3D printing portfolio.
Per a latest report by IDC, HP led the PC market in the second-quarter of 2018 with a market share of 23.9%, driven by higher demand in business markets due to migration to Microsoft’s (MSFT - Free Report) Windows 10.
However, with the passage of Window’s 10 replacement cycle, the demand from the business circle is anticipated to weaken, which poses a concern for the companies.
We therefore believe that the continuous innovative product launches will help HP stay afloat in the current uncertain environment.
Long-term earnings growth for Adobe and Verint is projected to be 16.20% and 10%, respectively.
Today's Stocks from Zacks' Hottest Strategies
It's hard to believe, even for us at Zacks. But while the market gained +21.9% in 2017, our top stock-picking screens have returned +115.0%, +109.3%, +104.9%, +98.6%, and +67.1%.
And this outperformance has not just been a recent phenomenon. Over the years it has been remarkably consistent. From 2000 - 2017, the composite yearly average gain for these strategies has beaten the market more than 19X over. Maybe even more remarkable is the fact that we're willing to share their latest stocks with you without cost or obligation.
