Netflix (NFLX) Outpaces Stock Market Gains: What You Should Know

Netflix (NFLX - Free Report) closed the most recent trading day at $381.43, moving +1.83% from the previous trading session. This move outpaced the S&P 500's daily gain of 0.36%. Elsewhere, the Dow gained 0.73%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.11%.

Heading into today, shares of the internet video service had gained 0.85% over the past month, lagging the Consumer Discretionary sector's gain of 1.56% and outpacing the S&P 500's gain of 0.73% in that time.
