Results were partly offset by an extra week of operation in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2018 compared with the reported quarter, which added 21 cents to earnings per share in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2018.

The company's overall comps grew 5.2%, with a 5.3% improvement in the United States.

In fiscal 2019, the company paid out cash dividends of $5,958 million and repurchased shares worth $6,965 million.
