St. Louis, MO-based Ameren Corporation, incorporated in December 1997, is a utility company, which generates and distributes electricity and natural gas to residential, commercial, industrial and wholesale end markets in Missouri and Illinois. The company serves nearly 2.4 million electric and more than 900,000 gas customers.
