DoorDash offers a logistics and technology platform to local businesses. The company’s platform connects merchants, consumers and dashers. It completed its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in December 2020.

As part of Marketplace, DoorDash offers merchants a comprehensive set of services, which include customer acquisition and demand generation, order fulfillment, merchandising, payment processing and customer support. DoorDash also enables merchants to advertise and promote on their platforms to acquire new consumers and increase sales.

Headquartered in San Francisco, CA, DoorDash generated total revenues of $2.303 billion in 2023. Total orders were 2.16 billion, which increased 24% year over year. Marketplace gross order volume (GOV) was $66.77 billion, up 25% year over year.
